By substituting (2) in (1):
=> (b+5)×b=500
=> b²+5b-500=0
=> b²+25b-20b-500=0
=> b(b+25)-20(b+25)=0
=> (b+25)×(b-20)=0
=> b=20m.-----(3)
Again by substituting (3) in (2)
=> l=b+5
=> l=20+5
=> l=25m.
The lenght and breadth of rectangular land is 25m and 20m respectively.
