\text{refractive index of water } = \bold{1.33}
\text{refractive index  of kerosene } = \bold{1.44}
\text{refractive index of kerosene with respect to water } = \frac{\mu_k}{\mu_w}
Where , \mu_k is refractive index of kerosene
And \mu_w is refractive index of water

Now, $^k\mu_w= \text{refractive index of kerosene with respect to water } =\frac{1.44}{1.33}
= 1.082

n kw ( refractive index of kerosene w.r.t. water) is equal to :
nk/nw ( refractive index of kerosene /refractive index of water)

>> nkw = nk/nw

=1.44/1.33
= 0.182*

this is ur required answer
hope u understand
Thanks
