The relation of partner wit the firm is that of

According to the government law under section 18,it States that Subject to the provisions of this Act, a partner is the agent of the firm for the
purposes of the business of the firm.
It also states that, if the partner comes because of his own interest, if he involved himself, then he will be considered as a principal or owner.
It means a partner of the company holds a part of ownership in that company.
The percentage ownership and the share of that partner can be calculated according to the investment of the partner in that business.
