The Telangana plateau is located in the western region of the Andhra Pradesh state in the southeast of India.
It is comprised in the north-eastern region of the Deccan plateau. This plateau of Telangana is around 57,370 square miles. Since the Indian union was established in the year 1947, the region came under Nizam Shahi dynasty rule of the Hyderabad state.
Later during modern times, Telangana has separated to become a different state.
