p(x) = x^3 + 3x^2 - 5x + 1
zero of 2x- 1 = 1/2

p(1/2)= (1/2)^3 +3*(1/2)^2 -5*1/2 +1

=1/8 + 3/4 -5/2 +1
(1+2-20+8) / 8
=(11-20)/8
-9/8 answer

jakkasrijareddy: I'm sorry for this the answers should be 5/8 or 7/8 or -7/8 or -5/8
