The resistance of a metal is given byR=V/I , where V is potential difference and I is the current. In
I=(2+-0. 2)A
a circuit the potential difference across resistance is V and current in resistance ,

. The value of resistance in Ω with percentage error is :

percentage relative error in case of potential=dV/V=5/100=0.05
% error in case of current is =dI/I=0.2/10=0.02
error in case of resistance is ->
dR/R=dV/V+dI/I
dR=R(0.05+0.02)
dR=10(0.07)
dR=0.7
PERCENTAGE ERROR IS=70%(In Resistance)

mominsk12344gmailcom: but answer is given like this 5+.-10%
Sudarshan33: oh! i will try it again to get the answer
Sudarshan33: you asked percentage then answer is 70
