Formula to be used :-

  • Heat = Rt

ㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤWhere, I = current

ㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ‎‎‎‎R = resistance

ㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ‎‎‎‎t = time.

Solution :-

Heat produced in circuit = I²Rt

ㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤㅤㅤ= (1)² × 100 × 10

ㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ‎‎‎‎ㅤㅤㅤㅤ= 1000 Joule.

Therefore, heat produced = 1000 Joule.
