Here, resistance of the wire = R = 1.5

Ohm Cross sectional area = A = 0.025 cm2

Length of the wire = L = 80 cm

Since, resistivity = R x A/L = 1.5 x 0.025/80 = 4.687 x 10-4

Therefore, the resistivity of the wires = 4.687 x 10-4

Guys the correct answer is

resistance (R)= 1.5Ω

area of cross-section (A)= 0.025 cm²

                                        = 0.025×10⁻⁴ m²

length (l)= 80 cm

              = 0.8 m

Using R=ρl÷A

1.5 = ρ × 0.8 ÷ 0.025×10⁻⁴

ρ= 1.5 × 0.025×10⁻⁴ ÷ 0.8

  = 0.047×10⁻⁴

  = 4.7×10⁻⁶Ωm
