The resistance of a wire made of certain material is 20 oms .Find the new resistance if it's is stretched to twice it's length.​

80 ohms

Explanation:

Resistance is directionally proportional to length.

Also on streaching the wire it's cross sectional area decreases which is indirectly proportional to resistance. Therefore there will be 4 times increase in resitance.
