SOLUTION:-
===========

Value of Maruti Van, V0= Rs. 196000
Rate of depreciation, r = 14(2/7)% = 100/7%; Time, t = 2 years
Let V1 is the value after depreciation.
V1 = V0*[1-(r/100)]t
V1 = 196000*[1-((100/7)/100)]2
V1 = 196000*(6/7)2
V1 = (196000*36)/49 = Rs. 144000.

So , Option (B) is the right answer ✔️

\underline \bold{Solution:-}

Cost of van (P) = 196000 rupees

Time = 2 years

Rate of depreciation =100/7 %

Amount

 = p {(1 - \frac{rate}{100}) }^{time} \\ \\ = 196000 {( 1-\frac{100 /7}{100}) }^{2} \\ \\ = 196000 {( 1- \frac{1}{7}) }^{2} \\ \\ = 196000 \times {6/7}^{2} \\ \\ =144000

After 2 years it's cost will be 144000 rupees

(B) is the correct option
