SINCE , R = L/ πr²

10 = 50 X 10^-8 L / 22/7 1/1000000

L = 22/350

L = 11/ 175 = 0.07 m

thanks

Answer:

22/35 m OR 0.62857 m

Explanation:

Given,

         Resistance (R)   = 10Ω

         Radius (r)           = 0.01 cm = 0.0001 m

         Resistivity (ρ)    = 50×10⁻⁸ Ω m

∴ Area of the wire (a) = 22/7 × (0.0001)²

                                     = 22/7 × 10⁻⁸ m²

By using the formula "R = ρ×(L/a)"

∴ L = (R×a)/ρ

∴ L = (10×22/7 × 10⁻⁸)/50×10⁻⁸

∴ L = 22/35 m = 0.62857 m       ←ANSWER
