Answer: (a) Now by ohms law,
I=V/R
Now let as there are three resistance such that let us name them, R1=5 OHM, R2= 10 OHM, R3= 30 OHM
Now is always same so V will be same in all resistences.
But current will be different then
I1=12/5,
I2=12/10,
I3=12/30,.... (1)
Now total current which is =I1+I2+I3.... (2)
Now by solving 1 we get
(b) Total current =2.4+1.2+0.4
Then, Total current is = 4.0Ampere.
(c) now by applying again ohms law,
We get, R= total current /potential difference.
Then R=I/V
R=4/12 =1/3 ohms or 0.33 ohms
