1. The poet was standing at the point where a road divides into two lanes. He could see the undergrowth's in one of the lanes and the other lane was full of dried leaves that had fallen down.

2. He poet was confused as to which path he wanted to explore. He knew that if he took any one of the paths, he would not be able to come back and explore the other path. This put him in great dilemma. He thought that both the paths looked unexplored so he kept on pondering as to which path to take.

3.The poet described the Forest as yellow because apparently it was autumn season so the leaves had turned shades of yellow.
