The theme of the poem is the choices we made in life . The poet gave it's title 'The Road Not Taken ' because he can't choose both the roads so he choosen the less travelled road and while walking on that road he was thinking about the most travelled road and thinking that if he will get a second chance to come there he will choose the most travelled road knowing that he would never come there .
