Step-by-step explanation:

so let x be the common multiple of the salaries of A, B and C.

so their salaries will be 1x , 2x and 3x

It is given that, the salary of B and C together is Rs.6000.

i.e. 2x + 3x = 6000

5x = 6000

x = 6000/5

x = 1200

A's salary = 1x = Rs.1200

Hence, A's salary is Rs.1200.
