Answer: a.) Let unknown be x.

1 m=100 cm

So therefore, 2540 m= 2540*100= 254000cm.

Ratio= 1:2000

Scale of 2540m=x.

So therefore, 1:2000::x:254000

2000x=254000

X=127.

127cm is the perimeter on the map.

B.) Let unknown be=X.

Ratio= 1:2000

Area= 16cm^2

100cm=1m.

So therefore,16cm^/100= 0.16m^2.

Scale=x.

So therefore,1:2000::x:0.16

2000x=0.16

X=0.00008 m^2
