☆ YOUR ANSWER IS HERE☆

SOLUTION:--

SO WE WIL USE X1/ Y1 = X2 /Y2

SO HERE X1 = 1 CM

                   Y1 = 3 * 10^7CM

                   X2 = 5CM

                   Y2 =WE HAVE TO FIND Y2

SO 1/3*10^7 = 5/Y2

SO  1(Y2 ) = 5(3*10^7) (BY CROSS MULTIPLICATION)

 WE HAVE Y2 = 15*10^7 CM OR 150000000 CM

AS WE KNOW = THAT 100 cm =1m AND 1000m = 1 km SO 1 km = 100* 1000 cm = 100000cm

                                             THEREFORE = 150000000 cm = 150000000/ 100000 km = 1500 km

SO THE ACTUAL DISTANCE BETWEEN THESE TWO CITIES IS 1500 km

AS WE THAT IT IS AN EXAMPLE OF DIRECT PROPORTION (AS THE VALUE INCRESES THE OTHER VALUE ALSO INCREASES)

SO WE WIL USE X1/ Y1 = X2 /Y2

SO HERE X1 = 1 CM

    Y1 = 3 * 10^7CM

     X2 = 5CM

    Y2 =WE HAVE TO FIND Y2

SO 1/3*10^7 = 5/Y2

SO  1(Y2 ) = 5(3*10^7) (BY CROSS MULTIPLICATION)

 WE HAVE Y2 = 15*10^7 CM OR 150000000 CM

AS WE KNOW = THAT 100 cm =1m AND 1000m = 1 km SO 1 km = 100* 1000 cm = 100000cm

                                             THEREFORE = 150000000 cm = 150000000/ 100000 km = 1500 km

SO THE ACTUAL DISTANCE BETWEEN THESE TWO CITIES IS 1500 km
