In Vietnam, struggles against colonisers, French were fought in a number of ways and in many areas. In schools, also the struggle was inhabited.
For eg. take the case of Saigon Native Girls School. A Vietnamese girl was told to sit back and allow a French to come and occupy the front bench. She refused. Then the principal told her to get out of the school. Then many other students revolted against that that they were also told to deadmit the school. Seeing then the problem going out of control, govt. took all the students back. This movement arose in 1926
