Before, we find the answer. Let's find out how we can find the answer.

  • In this question, we are asked to find how many bags are needed to buy to cover the entire the whole garden.
  • So, to find that, we have to first find the Area of the Rectangular flower Garden. Now, the Area of the Rectangle is :

\boxed { \rightarrow \sf Area \: of \: Rectangle = l \times b }

  • Next, after finding the Area, we have to divide the number of metres. one bag can cover with the area.

Given :

  • Length = 5 m
  • Breadth = 12 m
  • One bag = 5 m

To find :

  • how many bags will the school need to buy to cover the entire garden

Solution :

↪ Area of Rectangular Garden = l × b

                                                    = 5 × 12

                                                    = 60 cm²

Therefore, the Area of the Rectangular Garden is 60 cm².

No of bags = 60 ÷ 5

                   = 12

Therefore, 12 bags of fertilizer can cover the entire garden.

Answer:

12 bags

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Length = 5 m

Breadth = 12 m

One bag = 5 m

To find :

how many bags will the school need to buy to cover the entire garden

Solution :

↪ Area of Rectangular Garden = l × b

                                                   = 5 × 12

                                                   = 60 cm²

Therefore, the Area of the Rectangular Garden is 60 cm².

No of bags = 60 ÷ 5

                  = 12

Therefore, 12 bags of fertilizer can cover the entire garden.
