We have to find the HCF of 28 and 72 by Euclid's lemma.

72=(28×2)+16

28=(16×1)+12

16=(12×1)+04

12=(4×3)+0

∴ HCF of 28 and 72=4 ∴ Each bundle contains 4 books.

No. of bundles of Kannada books =

4

28

=7, No. of bundles of English books =

4

72

=18

there must be 14 bundles each bundle having 7 books first kannada books can be placed in 4 bundles. then other 72 books can be placed in 10 bundles. and only 2 books will be remained.
