- The sea water can be classified as a homogeneous if it contains only the solution of salt and water.
- It can be classified as heterogenous if it contains other insoluble components such as mud, decayed plants, etc.
Therefore the sea water is classified into both homogeneous as well as the heterogeneous mixture.
Those mixtures in which the constituent substances are mixed well and cannot be distinguish is known as homogeneous mixture
Examples :- pure water, white vinegar, sugar water, etc.
Those mixture in which the we can distinguish between the solute and the solvent is known as heterogenous mixture.
Examples :- oil and water, sand and water, chalk and water etc.
