a=5

d=3

l=47

n=2

Now apply the formula,

an=l-(n-1)d

an = 47-(2-1)3

=47-3

=44

therefore the second term from the last is 44

Answer:

a=5

a2=8

so, d=a2-a1

=8-5

=3

therefore,

an=47

a+(n-1)d=47

5+(n-1)3=47

n-1=47-5÷3

n=42/3 + 1

n= 42+3÷3

n=15

now therefore,

a14=a+(14-1)d

=5+13*3

=5+39

=44
