Third and fourth Anglo Mysore wars were fought during Tipu's reign.

British succeeded in winning the support of Nizam of Hyderabad and the marathas a three-pronged attack was made on Tipu he was defeated and made to signed the treaty of srirangapatna in which he had to surrender a large part of his territories. this was the third Anglo Mysore war.

In fourth and last Anglo Mysore war was fought between Tipu and British in the year 1799. in this war also Tipu lost the battle, because he did friendship with the French but they were engaged in French revolution so they did not come to help him. he was killed in defending his capital.
