Answer :

CP of 1 st Air conditioner = ₹ 25010

CP of 2 nd Air conditioner = ₹ 24990

Explanation :

Given :

Total Selling price = ₹ 50,000

Gain = 10 %

Loss = 10 %

According to the question :

→ 2 Air conditioners ( Both ) = ₹ 50,000

→ 1 Air conditioner = ₹ 50,000 / 2 = 25,000

1 st Air conditioner :

➥ CP ⇛ SP × 100 / 100 + Gain %

⇛25,000 × 100 / 100 + 10

⇛25,00,000 / 100 + 10

₹ 25010

2 nd Air conditioner :

➥ CP ⇛SP × 100 / 100 - Loss %

⇛25,000 × 100 / 100 - 10

⇛25,00,000 / 100 - 10

₹ 24990

Formula used :

✎ CP = SP × 100 / 100 ( + / - ) ( Gain / Loss % )

Verification :

⇛1 st + 2 nd Air conditioner = Total

⇛₹ 25010 + ₹ 24990 = 50,000

50,000 = 50,000

So, It's Done !!
