here is ur answer

let the cost price of the exclusive be x

so, according to question
x+16%of x=435
x+16/100×x=435
x+4x/25=435
25x+4x/25=435
29x/25=435
x=435×25/29
x=375

percentage of loss if it will be sold at the cost of 330
375-330
45/375×100
=12%

The percentage loss on selling the exclusive for Rs. 330 is 12%.

  • Selling price of a exclusive at 16% profit is Rs. 435.
  • We calculate the cost price of the exclusive using the above information.
  • We assume the cost price of the exclusive as x.
  • Now,

Selling price = x + 0.16x = 435

1.16x = 435

x = 375.

  • Now it is given that if the exclusive is sold for Rs. 330 what would be the percentage loss.
  • Percentage loss = \frac{Loss}{Cost \ price} × 100

Loss = Cost price - Selling price = 375 - 330 = 45

Now, loss percentage = \frac{45}{375} × 100 = 12%.
