The selling price of a radio is Rs 1320. If it gains 10% profit then how much should be added to gain 12% in selling price.

Given :

  • Selling price = ₹1320
  • Gain = 10%

Now

 \clubsuit \sf \: cp =  \dfrac{90 \times 1320}{100}

 \sf \clubs \: cp = ₹1188

Now SP on 12% profit -

 \sf \heartsuit \: sp \:  =  \dfrac{1188 \times 112}{100}

 \sf \hearts \: sp = ₹1330.56
