SOLUTION

TO DETERMINE

The selling price of an article is 5400. The cost price of an article if loss is one-fifth of the selling price

EVALUATION

Here it is given that The selling price of an article is 5400

Now loss is one-fifth of the selling price

So the loss

 \displaystyle \sf{ = 5400 \times  \frac{1}{5} }

 \displaystyle \sf{ = 1080 }

So the required cost price

= 5400 + 1080

= 6480

Selling Perice=5400

Loss= One fifth of SP
