f(n) = 0.15n  + 0.35

Step-by-step explanation:

Day              Amount over due

1                     $0.50

2                    $0.65

3                     $0.80

4                     $0.95

5                     $1.10

let say function is

f(n)   =  an + b

where a & b are constants  &  n is number of Days

f(n) is Over due

for n = 1

f(1) = a  + b  = 0.50

for n = 2

f(2) = 2a + b =  0.65

(2a + b) - (a + b) =  0.65 - 0.50

=> a =  0.15

0.15 + b  = 0.50

=> b = 0.35

f(n) = 0.15n  + 0.35
