*take the mixture in a plate.
*heat it
*keep a funnel inverted.
*ammonium is a sublimable substance, that is, it directly converts from solid to gas.ammonium undergo sublimation and stick to the inverted funnel.
*remove funnel.ammonium is now separated.
*add water
*stir well until salt got dissolved.
*wait for sometime. sand settles down.
after that filter it out
*seperate the remaining salt solution by crystallization.
