The sets A – B, B – A and A ∩ B are mutually disjoint sets.

Definition: A set to be called mutually disjoint if  A ∩ B is empty.

Example,

IF A>B

then A-B will be positive.

   B-A  will be negative.

and  A ∩ B will be empty.

If A=B

Then B-A=A-B=0

and A ∩ B = A=B

So, mutually disjoint.
