Let h be the height then shadow length is

√3 times the height so √3h

If t denote the angle of elevation

then tan(t)=height/shadow length

=> tan(t)=h/√3h

=>tan(t)=1/√3

=> t= arctan(1/√3)

=30 degree or pi/6
