tan A=3/2 at same time tanA=x/8 also here x is height of tree
now 3/2=×/8
2x=3×8
x=12 m

Answer:

12 m

Step-by-step explanation:

The Shadow of a stick of length 3m is 2m

Ratio of Shadow to length = 2:3

Let the length of the tree be x

The shadow of that tree is 8 m

ratio = 8:x

So, \frac{2}{3}=\frac{8}{x}

2x=24

\frac{24}{2}=x

12=x

Hence the height of the tree is 12 m
