The Sharma family went to visit their relatives living in Brazil. There they decided to visit the Amazon rain forest. Their tourist guide told them to that this forest was once called the “lungs of the planet” but now this saying is not true.
(a) Why do you think it was ‘lungs of the planet’?
(b) Why has it lost the title?
(c) What are your reactions to this?

Amazon forest was known as Lungs of the planet pickles Amazon forest was the largest forest in the world and their intake of carbon dioxide and exaltation of oxygen what's one of the main source for the planet.
it has lost its title because due to industrialization and urbanization large amount of trees are getting cut every year which reduces the amount of oxygen emitted by the forest.
I would be deeply shocked to know about this fact Android like to aware people in Brazil about this too and request them to stop deforestation and plant more trees
