How many chocolates I received in 12 rupees?

d) 18

Answer:

Let the no of chocolates = x = x / 12 dozen

Price of x/12 dozen is Rs. 12

So price of 1 dozen is 144/x

Now we can also use the Second Condition:

144 / (x+2)  + 1 = 144 / x

x = 16
