Density = Mass / Volume
Now,
SI unit of mass is kg.
and SI unit of volume is m^3.
So,
SI unit of density is kg/m^3 or kg m^-3.
Now,
SI unit of mass is kg.
and SI unit of volume is m^3.
So,
SI unit of density is kg/m^3 or kg m^-3.

Heya !!!
s i unit of density is kg / m³
because
density = Mass / volume
the s i unit of mass is kg or kilogram.
the SI unit of volume is metre cube or m³ .
when these. ratio are divided
we get =>
Kg / m³
hence, density = Kg / m³ .
hope it helps you dear!!!
thanks !!!
