Area of the equilateral triangle = 3a

= 3 x 7/2

= 10.5 sq.cm

Area of the square = side x side

= 7/2 x 7/2

= 12.25 sq.cm

The area of the square is greater than The area of the equilateral triangle.

The area of the square is greater than 1.75 sq.cm to the equilateral triangle .
