Step-by-step explanation:

Side = 13 cm

Diagonal = 24 cm

Area of rhombus = 1/2 * d1 * d2

Diagonal = 24 cm

In a rhombus, there are 4 right angled triangles.

the side becomes the hypotenuse. the diagonals become half in each.

Diagonal 1 = 12 cm, hypotenuse = 13 cm

diagonal 2 = √(13² - 12²) = √169-144 =√25 = 5 cm

Diagonal 2  actual length = 5 cm *2 = 10 cm

Area = 1/2 * d1*d2 = 1/2 * 24 * 10 = 120 cm²
