let ABCD be a rombus and o be point of inter section of the diagonals

AO = 8 cm

AB = BC = CD  = DA = 10 cm

In rt tringle AOB

BO ^2 = AB ^2 - AO ^2

          = 10 ^2 - 8 ^2

          = 100- 64

          =  36

BO = 6 cm

thus ,

         BD =  12 cm

  and AC = 16 cm

Area of rombus = 1/2 ( 12 * 16 )

                          = 1/2 * 192

                          = 96cm sq
