side=5 cm

side as hypotenuse and 8/2=4 cm as one side

use Pythagoras theorem

5^2=4^2+x^2

25-16=x^2

9=x^2

square root on both sides

3=x

therefore 3*2=6

then the length of other diagonal is 6 cm

Answer:

Side = 5

Side as hypontenus and 8/2 = 4cm as one side

Use Phythagoras Theorum

4^2 + x^2 = 5^2

16 + x^2 = 25

x^2 = 25 - 16

x^2 = 9

x = 3

Square root on both sides

x=3

3*2 = 6

Therefore the length of other diagonal = 6cm
