Hey mate !

Given :

a = 5 cm.

b = 12 cm

To find :

Length of c.

Solution :

We will use pythagorean theorem here. According to which,

⇒ c² = a² + b²

⇒ c² = 5² + 12²

⇒ c² = 25 + 144

⇒ c² = 169

⇒ c = √169

⇒ c = 13 cm.

Hence,

The hypotenuse of triangle is 13 cm.

pythogoras theorom,

height²+ base²= hypotenuse²

⇒12²+5²=hypotenuse²

⇒144+25=hypotenuse²

⇒169=hypotenuse²

⇒13×13=hypotenuse²

so,hypotenuse=13cm
