we have,

sides of a right angled triangle containing right angle are 14m and 7m respectively.

Hence, perpendicular (altitude) = 14m.

and,base = 7m.


we know,


area of a right angled triangle =

 \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height
=
 \frac{1}{2}  \times 7 \times 14 \\  =   7 \times 7 \\  = 49 {m}^{2}
