Given side of a square is 16 m

ATQ

i) Each side is increased by 4

so,

16+4 = new side of the square

20 = new side of the square

then its area becomes (side)^2 = 20×20

= 400 m^2

ii) Each side is doubled

which means new side = 16×2 =32

then the area comes as = 32×32

=1024m^2

Thank you

Hope it helps
