radius of small circle=10/2=5

radius of big circle=√2side=10√2

ar between...square=ar of big circle - ar of small circle

Φ\360πR^2 - Φ\360πr^2

Φ\360π(R^2 - r^2)

90/360π{[10√2]2 - [5]2}

1/4π{200 - 25}

1/4π{175}

275/2cm^2

137.5cm^2
