We know that side of the square are equal.

And each angle =90° ,

So, We can use PGT.

Given : Side =25 cm

Using Pythagoras Theorem

$ac {}^{2} = bc {}^{2} + ab {}^{2}$

$ac {}^{2} = 25 {}^{2} + 25 {}^{2}$

$ac {}^{2} = 625 + 625$

$ac {}^{2} = 1250$

$ac = \sqrt{1250}$

AC=35.35 cm

So,diagonal =35.35 cm
