The side of a square is 4cm the length of a rectangle is 8cm and its width is 2cm find the perimeter and area of both figure

side of square=4 cm
perimeter of square= 4× side
= 4× 4
= 16cm
area of square= side²
= 4²
= 16cm²
now length of rectangle=8 cm,
breadth of rectangle= 2cm
perimeter of rectangle= 2( l+b)
= 2( 8+2)
= 2× 10
=20 cm
area of rectangle= l×b
= 8×2
= 16 cm².
