Answer:

The side of a square is 6 cm.

The length of a rectangle is 10 cm and its breadth is 4 cm.

Perimeter of a square = 4 x length of one side

= 4 x 6 = 24cm.

Perimeter of a square is 24 cm.

Area of the square = length of a side x length of a side

Area of the square = 6 * 6 = 36 sq. cm.

Area of the square is 36 sq. cm.

Perimeter of the rectangle = (2 x length) + (2 x breadth)

= (2 x 10) + (2 x 4) = 20 + 8 = 28cm.

Perimeter of a rectangle is 28 cm.

Area of a rectangle = length x breadth

= 10 x 4 = 40

The area of the rectangle is 40 sq.cm
