The side of a square tile is 10cm.How many tiles can be fixed on the floor of a room of 2.5m long and 2m wide?

Area of tiles = 10*10

= 100cm => 1m

Area of floor of tiles 2.5*2 = 5.0msqu

So, area or floor/area of tiles

5/1= 5 tiles can be fixed
