Perimeter of rectangle = 108cm

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth )

108 = 2(7x + 2x)

108 = 2(9x)

108/2= 9x

54 = 9x

x = 54/9

x = 6

Length of the rectangle = 7x = 7× 6= 42 cm

Breadth of the rectangle= 2x = 2× 6 = 12 cm

Then area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

= (42×12)

= 504 sq.cm
