By heron's formula
Area of a triangle = square root of (s)(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

where s = a+b+c/2
and a,b,c are sides of triangle

s = a+b+c/2
s = 42+34+20/2
s = 96/2
s = 48cm

area = square root of (48)(48-42)(48-34)(48-20)

area = square root of (48)(6)(14)(28)

area = square root of (112896)

area = 336 sq.cm
