Hello,

Let the sides of triangle given in ratio be 13x, 14, and 15x.

Given,

Perimeter of Triangle = 84 cm

Sum of all sides if triangle = 84 cm

13x + 14x + 15x = 84 cm

42x = 84 cm

x = 2 cm

Hence,

Sides will be 13×2, 14×2, 15×2 = 26 cm, 28 cm, 30 cm

Semi perimeter of triangle, x =

= 42 cm

Area of triangle,

Hence,

The area of triangle = 336 square cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let us consider 13 : 14 : 15 be 13 x , 14x, 15x

As the perimeter of the triangle is its sum of three sides so ,

13 x +14 x + 15 x = 84

42x = 84

x = 84/42

x = 2

so the sides are 26 , 28 , 30

by using heron's formula we can calculate area

s = 13 + 14+15 /2 = 21

S =

 \sqrt{(21 - 13)(21 - 14)(21 - 15)}

 \sqrt{(8)(7)(6)}

 \sqrt{336}

18.33 \:  \:  {cm}^{2}

Hope it helps !!!
